J. Marcoz Emergency Vehicle

Siren Installation

J. Marcoz Emergency Vehicle will specifically evaluate your vehicle to determine your siren requirements, suggest appropriate models, and correctly install the system of your choice in a professional manner.

Electronic sirens with one or two speakers (100 or 200 watts) are available.  Standard, custom fit, and low profile speakers can be utilized depending on your needs.  Public address systems and air horn only units are available for vehicles whose drivers are not permitted to operate a full-function siren unit.

The Federal Q2B mechanical siren for fire/rescue applications

You've all heard this one as a fire engine goes screaming by.  It’s big, it’s bad, it’s chrome and it can be mounted on your bumper, in your bumper, or under the truck (but who would want to hide such a beautiful piece of equipment?)

Requires heavy duty charging system; several vehicle upgrades may also be needed.  Requires approximately 250 amps.

The Federal Q2 “electronic” version can also be installed- it’s just as loud as the original Q2B, but has no moving parts and draws only 50 amps.

Electronic sirens will feature two-way radio rebroadcast over the siren speaker.  Park kill can be installed on most units.  The vehicle’s horn button will also be tied into any electronic siren with either manual or automatic switchover.

J. Marcoz Emergency Vehicle also repairs previously installed sirens, and can retrofit your current unit with the park kill and horn button control options.
